Sabatier Edgekeeper Knives

Sabatier

I don’t know first thing about picking decent knives for my kitchen. I truly don’t which makes my standards pretty easy to meet. What I do know though, is that I spend a lot of time in my kitchen cooking. I do a lot of meal prepping which means a lot of cutting of meat, and veggies. In the past 5 years I’ve had 3 different sets of knives. They usually end up going dull, and I have no way of sharpening them. With that being said though, the last block I purchased I made sure it came with a knife sharpener. Truthfully, I don’t know how to use it, and think I did more harm to the knife blades then good. Lucky for me I have the opportunity to try out these amazing Sabatier self sharpening knives. Yes, I said self sharpening!!

Staying Sharp

No more sharpeners, steels or stones.

A sharp knife is a safe knife. Compensating for a dull blade with additional force can be dangerous.

Every time your cutlery is drawn from the sharpening slots the integrated ceramic rods will reset the edge.

Ceramic is less abrasive than alternative materials and will gently sharpen knives resulting in a finer edge.

Sabatier® Edgekeeper® Forged Knives with Self-Sharpening Sheaths

features a built-in sharpener that automatically hones the blade’s edge every time you take the knife out or put it back into the sheath. Choose from an 8” Chef, 8” Slicer, 7” Santoku, 6” Chef, 5” Santoku, 4.5” Fine Edge Utility, and 3.5” Parer ($12.99 to $17.99 each).
These are also available in the Sabatier® 12-Piece Edgekeeper® Pro Self-Sharpening Knife Block Set ($99.99) with easy-to-use, built-in blade sharpeners.
I love these knives, they make meal prepping such a stress free time now. I don’t have to worry about taking the time to sharpen them before, or during. I’ve used these knives for an entire week now, as well as some of my friends. They’ve complimented the over all look of the block, as well as the functionality of the knife. Below you’ll find a closer look as to what specific knives will come in your knife block!
